cutesy dresses


This is such a girly piece but it's nice to have at least one in my closet. I love the pastels, the tie on's, and especially the ruffles. What's even better is that it looks so cute over jeans as well. You know I'm all about being able to use a piece for more than one outfit. Oh yeah, according to someone, if I put on a hanky in my hair with this dress, I could be one of those girls working inside the Asian bakery.



I actually had to go all over the place for this dress until I found a store that even carried it or in a decent size. I love the brown and the belted look. It's fairly simplistic yet it's just one of those "ahhh" pieces. It gives me such a brunch or tea party vibe. I think what really caught my eye was the "rounded" detailing, the buttons and the collar. For me, I think I wouldn't have been so persistent with this piece if the collar had been pointed.
